Like an Ethiopian black rhinoceros who sights and charges its prey, that’s how we feel about choosing the right coffee bean – single minded in the pursuit of the perfect brew. We’ve hunted the globe and found the finest single origin coffee beans.

The beans from the Yirgacheffe region in Ethiopia are best enjoyed black - where the soil, climate and altitude produce a vibrant bean that has caramel and cocoa notes, with a bright berry finish. 

Locally roasted and ground to profile, then slowly brewed for a softer flavour extraction.

WHERE ARE BEANS FROM?

Once again, we have returned to the renowned Ethiopian region of Yirgacheffe to secure another amazing African coffee. The Yirgacheffe region is known to have some of the best specialty grade coffee in the world. The region has a range of geographical advantages for growing coffee and has an elevation at nearly two kilometres above sea level. The warm and tropical climate allow the coffee plants to grow naturally, thanks to high elevations, thick vegetation and healthy soil.

Light, bright and packed full of flavour. That’s what Yirgacheffee coffee beans bring to the table. The unique characteristics of the region make for a distinctive flavour and Ethiopian coffee is known for its complex flavors, with bright berry and floral notes, and our Hunt and Brew Ethiopia Cold Brew Black Coffee is no exception.
